Global Consulting CDL Partners – Driver Recruiting Specialists
Effective Date: January 12, 2025
These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of Global Consulting CDL Partners’ website, recruitment services, consulting services, and any related offerings. By engaging with Global Consulting CDL Partners (“we,” “us,” “our”), you agree to these Terms.
1. Service Overview
CDL Partners provides professional driver recruiting and placement services for trucking companies, transportation providers, and logistics carriers. Our services include driver sourcing, pre-screening, matching, and placement support.
Hiring decisions are made solely by the client (the carrier/employer).
2. Deposit & Payment Terms
To begin the recruiting and placement process, the client must pay a security deposit, which serves as a commitment to the hiring process.
Deposit Amount
Based on the agreement provided:
A $1,000 security deposit covers 2 candidates
The deposit structure continues at $1,000 for every additional two (2) candidates.
Refund Policy
The deposit is fully refundable within 30 business days if the client chooses not to continue with the hiring process.
If the client hires any presented candidate, the deposit is applied toward the overall fee or retained as outlined in the agreement.
Placement Fee
If a client hires a candidate presented by CDL Partners within 12 months of the initial presentation, the fee is:
$1,500 per hired candidate.
Additional Hiring Fee Structure:
$500 per candidate beyond the initial two candidates.
Payment Due Date
The placement fee is due within 30 days of the candidate’s first day of employment.
CDL Partners will issue an invoice on the candidate’s start date, and payment is due upon receipt.
3. Client Responsibilities
By engaging CDL Partners, the client agrees to:
Provide accurate information about hiring needs
Respond promptly to candidates and communications
Notify CDL Partners immediately upon hiring a presented candidate
Pay all fees described in these Terms and in any signed agreement
Not circumvent or bypass CDL Partners to avoid fees
Any candidate presented by CDL Partners who is hired within 12 months triggers the placement fee, regardless of position or employment structure.
4. CDL Partners’ Responsibilities
We agree to:
Source and present qualified driver candidates
Pre-screen applicants to the best of our ability
Communicate hiring progress with the client
Maintain professionalism and confidentiality
Invoice according to the terms outlined
CDL Partners does not guarantee that any candidate will accept an offer, complete onboarding, or remain employed for a specific duration unless such a guarantee is explicitly stated in a separate written agreement.
5. No Guarantee of Employment or Performance
CDL Partners facilitates connections between drivers and clients but cannot guarantee:
Candidate performance
Employment longevity
Background, driving record, or compliance accuracy beyond provided documentation
Candidate availability or acceptance
All hiring decisions and employment obligations remain exclusively between the client and the hired candidate.
6. Refund Policy
Refunds are only provided for:
The refundable portion of the security deposit as described above
Within the allowed 30-business-day review period, provided no hires were made
Placement fees for hired candidates are non-refundable.
7. Termination of Services
Either party may terminate the working relationship at any time. However:
The client remains responsible for any outstanding fees
Placement fees still apply for any candidate hired within 12 months of being presented
8. Intellectual Property
All materials, branding, website content, marketing assets, and recruiting systems developed by CDL Partners remain our intellectual property. Clients may not copy, reproduce, or distribute them without written permission.
9. Limitation of Liability
CDL Partners is not liable for:
Losses resulting from driver actions
Business interruptions
Compliance violations caused by the client
Employment disputes
Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
Our maximum liability shall not exceed the amount the client paid for the services in question.
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, unless otherwise specified in a signed agreement.
11. Amendments
CDL Partners may update these Terms at any time. Updated versions will be posted on our website with a revised effective date.
